Fantastic gifts mom will love (that will come in time for Mother’s Day)
This year seems to be flying by and Mother’s Day (May 8th) is just about two weeks away! I am so excited for my first Mother’s Day with my baby girl earth side, so I thought I would put together this gift guide of things that I think would be just perfect. Everything on these lists is either something that I own and love, or something that’s on my own wish list after reading some great reviews. You can shop everything on this guide here!
Books
Of course the English teacher in me is always going to have books on my list! The two parenting books, “How to Stop Losing Your Sh*t with Your Kids” and “you ae a f*cking awesome mom,” have been on my “to-read” list for a a few months now. I heard about them from a parenting FB group and both seem great! Also, I love that a few of these books can be customized to be a super cute keepsake for you and your kiddos. And who doesn’t love a sweary coloring book?
Skincare and Hair Accessories
I’ve definitely been getting more into skincare lately, since my skin has changed so much with pregnancy and masking. We bought this mini fridge to help us with middle of the night feedings when Ari was first born, but I saw in the reviews that a lot of people use it for their skin care too. I never even knew people kept their skin care in the fridge, but it makes a lot of sense! Also, as my hair is getting longer, I am just loving that clips and scrunchies are back in style! I think any mom would love these.
Bags and Jewelry
Most of these are from my wish list and have gotten rave reviews. That cross body bag has over 20,000 five star reviews! I do own that mesh bag in the lower left corner and I LOVE it for the beach!! It is such a versatile bag and could be used for towels and sun care to sand toys.
A Random Little Mix
I don’t know about you, but with summer coming up, I am ready to live in leggings and bike shorts! My mom, my sister, and I all have that two pack of leggings and they are the best!! You cannot beat the quality for the price and I wear them everywhere. These fuzzy slippers are great too because they have a rubber bottom so they don’t get all gross and you can wipe them down. I’ve had my eye on those mixing bowls for ages, and I love a good bento box organizer for lunches.
I hope that this guide gives you some good ideas for Mother’s Day this year! Prime shipping is my best friend right now since I don’t get out to the stores much with having a baby.
xx,
Camile
